on 28th, january i went to my grandpa and grandma, they both were very happy with me. we made lunch together and had a good time during the day. in the evening, when i went back home, they gave me some new year's money.

on the evening of the spring festival, we set off firecrackers with our friends and parents. the dinner of that night was exstreamly sumptuous（丰盛）.

on the new year's eve of 2007, i watched a movie with my friend. the movie was about conflicts and assassinations within a palace. though the director had added lots of action scenes in the movie, it was still quite boring. after that, we went shopping in wangfujing street. the street was crowded and full of noise, with people rushing everywhere and bumping into one another. i never thought that going shopping on the new year's eve could be that tiring. in the evening, i had a hearty feast with my parents. that was the only thing that helped to cheer me up on the new year's eve.

we felt excited indeed. that day was also my friend’s birthday. i bought a comic strip for her because she likes cartoon very much. she also invited me to went to her new flat to play. at last she gave me a heart made of crystal. she really moved me. on sunday afternoon our translating group had finally finished all chapters! i was really excited.

although our translation was not very fluent and nice, even a little abrupt, it was our outcome. it was our effort. when i saw my name on the heroic translator list, i was really proud of myself.

later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. i received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. they all blessed me happy new year. i gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. at almost 12 pm, i made a wish in new year, and began to sleep.

when i woke up in the first day of new year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. i thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. i have been waiting for the day that i can get lots of red packets. this is my happiest time of the year.

the following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. we happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some new year presents.
